Bookmarklets are fun. This one gets Google's cached version of the page you're on. Add it to your bookmarks/links bar:
Update: Mozilla users should use the special version.
Special features, besides just sending the URI to Google:
- Checks for non-HTTP(S) URIs, which Google does not cache.
- Asks, when appropriate, whether or not to send the query string (the part after the question mark.)
- Properly handles fragment links (the part after the number sign) so you can go to the same bookmarked place on a cached page as on the original.
Update: Special for Mozilla Users: If you land on a Net error page, this will determine the originating URL and ask Google for that instead of the chrome://... garbage. You know the drill: Google cache +FL
